  2. The full County Charts are very large and require significant random access memory. It is suggested that you download the individual area charts and add only those areas you intend to dive that day to the Google Earth program.
  3. If you have any problems downloading, contact the author by e-mail @ floridanearshore@yahoo.com web site.

 *** MAC - CAUTION! 10/09/2009

We recently had a problem reported by an individual downloading to a "MAC Pro" system. He couldn't run the exe's even after transferring them to a PC using a "Thumb Drive"

Problem is being investigated - more later!  It is believed to be MAC related ONLY. We have had over 9600 downloads without this type error being reported!

*** Update 10/14/2009

All files must be downloaded to a Windows based operating system since they download as executables which are not recognized by most MAC operating systems. Once the downloaded executables are run on the Windows based system, the resulting files may be transferred to a MAC & should run successfully.

1. The PDF files (one per download) are installed on the users desktop and require no auxiliary files except Adobe Acrobat Reader.

2. The Google KMZ files are two per download:

Italics note 1: User Name = the name of the user on the downloading computer.  When transferring to a MAC it should be changed as applicable.

Italics note 2: County Name = Broward, Miami-Dade or  Palm Beach dependant on County file being downloaded.
